Feisty Fellow

Crawdad!This morning while walking, I came across this feisty fellow on the trail.
Crawdads, or crayfish, spend the winter under the mud and dig out in the Spring.

As I approached, he raised his claws threateningly at me.

So I helped him out by scooping him up on a piece of bark,

And carried him to the creek.
He didn't even thank me!
