I'm blogging about my home, a Midwest farm in Indiana and my travels, hiking & horseback riding, wherever that may take me. Visit often to get your outdoor "fix"! Whether it be from the back of a horse, in hiking boots, or in muck boots, I promise to share a little of Mother Nature with you as often as I can! All pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them.

Wolves of Denali
We were fortunate to see a gray wolf trotting down the road in front of the tour bus.
Got photos of it as it hunted on the underbrush
And we had the rare sighting of wold pups playing in a riverbed.
Caribou of Denali
We saw quite a few caribou on the tour.
Some were on the very top of ridges, enjoying the breeze that kept insects away.
This pair were staying cool on a patch of snow.
High temperature was about 65 F.
