Hoosier Horse Fair

The Hoosier Horse Fair is an annual rite of Spring in Indiana.

Horses, trainers & horsemen all gathered together & enjoying everything equine.

 

 

In addition to sales of every kind of tack imaginable,

every breed of horse is represented, as is every style of riding.

From Friesian

to Foxtrotter,

 and reining

to vaulting

 

 

Even the stock dogs had a competition.

The featured trainer this year was Buck Brannaman

It was a fun weekend!

Nature is persistent.

The Watch Horse

Horses notice everything.

Being prey animals, I guess its their job to notice things.

So when Rocky came up for his evening meal tonight,

something caught his eye.

HEY!  That's NOT supposed to be there.!

It looks very suspicious.

I think I saw it move!

So I walked out to see what he was so concerned about

and saw this...

We have a freeze warning overnight 

and the neighbor had covered her plants.

Can't you just see the blue tiger stalking?

Ok, I'll come in, but what if they follow me???
