Arches National Park

Our next stop is Arches National Park in southeast Utah.

There are many spires and interesting rock formations.

This is balanced rock.

Arches has over 2000 known arches.

This is turret arch.

Surprise arch

We saw this arch on the Ranger led Fiery Furnace hike.

You don't notice the arch until you are under it.

 

And this is probably the most photgraphed arch,

Delicate Arch.

 

Rocky Mountain High

We are in Rocky Mtn. National Park.

We've seen majestic mountains.

 

and alpine lakes

and windy tundra

We've also spotted wildlife such as

Friendly ground squirrels

A Magpie

 

Bighorn sheep

Even a moose

The park is beautiful!

She finally got irritated at me taking her photo,

  flew to a nearby tree & scolded me!
