One of the highlights of our visit to Key West was kayaking the Boca Chica Channel
which flowed to the sea.
We left Stock Island and paddled among the tangled branches of the mangroves.
Our guide netted all kinds of sea creatures, like this horse conch.
A skinny sea star
A fat sea star
A slug-like sea hare that was sticky to hold.
And jelly fish.
There were some interesting sights above the water too,
like this raft of comorants.
It was a fun day on the water.
