Winter Wonderland
We got 4 more inches of snow on top of the original 4 inches.
Its truly a winter wonderland.
The road less traveled.

Snow Day!
I arrived home from the sunshine state just in time for our first snowstorm of the season.
I had to get out in the winter wonderland.
The snowy trail invited me to explore.
As I trudged along, the squeak-scrunching of my footsteps filled the air.
Everything else is muffled by the fluffy white stuff.
Down by the creek, the water was rippling through the snow covered rocks.
The air was crisp & cold.
It was a beautiful homecoming.

First Snow, first post!
We got the first measurable snow of the season and, of course, I took some photos. This is what I saw this morning when I went to the paddock to let the horses out to graze. Tag, my 21 year old Appaloosa is on the left and Rocky, a 12 year old chocolate palomino Quarter Horse is on the right. They are always hungry!
