Record Heat, Things are Popping!

We've had record heat in the 80's for the last week. 

That's unheard of in March.

Needless to say, the wildflowers are popping up

 and wilting very fast.

Spring Beauty

The turtles have all dug themselves out of the mud

 and are basking in the sunshine.

The waterfowl are pairing up,

 preparing for nesting.

I saw a mink slipping among the logs along the creek bank.

Haven't seen one in several years.

I'll try to get his photo, but he's pretty quick!
