Flood Aftermath

The water has receded.
I think floods are Nature's way of rearranging her house.
If its not nailed down or rooted, its swept downstream.
Bluebird Trail had some erosion.

The Pawpaw patch accumulated last autumn's leaves,
while the trail was swept clean.

Sand was washed up onto Creekside Trail.

As was this little sunfish.

A few trails were blocked with debris.

At the S curve in the creek, I could see where the creek cut the curve,
taking a shortcut.

But I saw signs of new growth.

Nature is never static.
There's always something new and different.

Nature will bring the area back to a previous beauty.
