Owl Pellet

I found an owl pellet under the large sycamore tree in our yard.
I've been looking for a pellet for a year and funny how,
when your not looking, there it is.

What's an owl pellet?
Owls don't have teeth, so they eat their prey whole,
using their beak to tear it apart and then swallow large chunks.
The owl slowly digests its meal and regurgitates the indigestible items
such as bones, fur & feathers in the form of a pellet.
So basically, its owl vomit.
Ewwww!

Its not really that bad.
Its dry and quite interesting.
Here's what I found in the pellet.

A tiny leg bone with the ball of a socket joint.

A handful of gray and brown fur.
Any guesses what it was?
