A few days ago, I noticed a new bird,
a red-headed woodpecker.
We have lots of woodpeckers, but have never had a red-headed visit us.
Its quite a striking bird with large patches of red, white & black.
He checked out the area but,
was ultimately driven off by this guy,
a red-bellied woodpecker,
who constantly followed him and harassed him.
