The nearby small town of Cicero had a 4th of July parade today.
This is what rural America is all about!
Color guard leading off
Its not a parade without fire trucks!
Especially the old ones.
Hamilton county has a piece of the World Trade Center
to be used in a firefighter's memorial, which was reverently observed.
And let's not forget our veterans, who fought for our freedom.
The mascot from the nearby Pork Festival was here.
Red, white & blue were prominent colors
Local folks were invited to enter their favorite parade vehicles,
such as this dragster.
And these antique cars.
The local high school band performed.
There were youngsters
Of course, we had horses
And tractors.
And a good time was had by all!
