I'm blogging about my home, a Midwest farm in Indiana and my travels, hiking & horseback riding, wherever that may take me. Visit often to get your outdoor "fix"! Whether it be from the back of a horse, in hiking boots, or in muck boots, I promise to share a little of Mother Nature with you as often as I can!

I think that trap is one that Tom Stonecipher (former owner of Schmidt's place) left there. He hated traps because he was worried his kids or horses would get caught, so he would take the traps up to his barn, weld them OPEN, and put them back where he found then. ;-)
