I wasn't expecting to see the mink again,
but I got lucky and got some decent pictures of him.
My field guide says they live along rivers, creeks, ponds & marshes and their preferred prey is muskrats.
I have been seeing him lurking around the muskrat's den.
It also says they are hostile to intruders and will hiss, snarl
& discharge a fetid smell from the anal glands if angered.
They will purr if contented.
He's spotted me.
Away he goes.
