Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park

One of our final treks was to
Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park.

We saw lots of varieties of cacti and succulents.

Hiked along the Queen Creek Riparian area,
past Ayers Lake through a Eucalyptus forest and
saw Australian, Chihuahuan, and Sonoran Desert areas.

Past the Boyce Thompson Picket Post House

And the Clevenger House,
home of the original settler.

We also saw some of the fruitful plants found in the area,
such as these pomegranates,
as well as pecan, olive & pistachio trees.

A great way to end our visit to the desert.

So long Arizona.
